As a high school teacher with a background in Dance and Exercise, Darlene received her first massage from a fellow dance instructor. She immediately felt the benefits, and the “oohs and aahs” of receiving a massage. She knew then that she wanted to make others experience that good feeling.
A graduate of the Pittsburgh School of Massage, and a certified member of the American Massage Therapy Association, her massage sessions combine Swedish, deep tissue, sports and acupressure techniques.
Each session is tailored to the needs of the individual client, based upon a personal interview and health assessment completed before the massage.
Darlene’s clients’ needs differ greatly, and vary from the sweet gentle lady suffering from fibromyalgia, to the workaholic, to the person who needs a little pampering for physical or emotional well-being.
“I believe massage therapy supports the whole body. It’s satisfying to know that I can positively affect the quality of life of my clients through the ‘GIFT OF TOUCH.’”
