Vincent Colaizzi was one of the first 10 stylists in metropolitan Pittsburgh - and the first from the North Hills area - to receive the “Master of the Craft” Award for his expertise in hair design, corrective coloring, and directional perming.

Dedicated to ongoing education and training, Vincent hosts classes given by beauty industry leaders on a regular basis in his salon, to keep everyone at Colaizzi’s on top of the latest techniques and procedures. Striving to provide consistent service to his customers, Vincent was one of the first to volunteer his salon as a test site for Mikal salon software.

True to the old values, but modern in technique and products, Vincent is a “Renaissance man,” who started in the business at the age of 13, cutting hair under the supervision of his father.

Today, he continues to serve his customers and his profession through his membership in the United Salon Association, a Pittsburgh-based organization which provides seminars by nationally-recognized leaders in the beauty industry.
